Mechanism Guard Sweat with Headphones Sports S2 MDR-A35G Sony

0ur opinion:

Item Description:
Need to replace those worn out headphones that you've been working out with? Try this pair of lightweight Street Style stereo folding headphones from Sony. They have a moisture guard mechanism that pulls sweat away from your ears, so you'll be able to concentrate on exercising without interruptions.

:
These Sony headphones are super-lightweight, comfortable and safe. They have been designed with Sony's Sports Walkman series in mind. The MDR-A35G stereo headphones have a thin, lightweight and adjustable headband which allow you to fit them perfectly to your head's shape. The headphones are foldable (via three hinges) which allow for greater transportability; you can pack these away in your workout bag or in a jeans pocket. The moisture guard mechanism pulls sweat away from the ear canal, keeping your headphones drier and thus, better fitting and sounding. lf you plan on listening to your MP3 player or radio while treadmilling in the gym, this feature will be greatly appreciated. The headphones are also water resistant; runners in wet environs will certainly find this advantageous.

The open-air design removes undesirable resonance by allowing outside air to pass through the headphones; the result is a better sounding headphone. The open-air design is also a key factor in keeping you safe while you exercise. The headphones allow outside noises like horns, passing bikers and oncoming dogs to meet your ears, even with music playing. With sixteen millimeter drivers, although miniscule, you can expect to hear a good bass sound. Neodymium magnets, a rare feature on such economically priced headphones, provide maximum energy with minimal size. Meanwhile, the Sony Acoustic Turbo circuit is included for high efficiency; it gets high sonic output from your portable stereo, and extends bass response.

The MDR-A35G's oxygen-free copper (0FC) Y-style cord is double-sided and is 3.9 feet long, allowing for ample movement and separation from the sound source. The gold-plated, L-shaped stereo mini-plug fits mini-plug jacks, not the full-size stereo jacks. The headphones are a flat black color.

Testimonials

Buyer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - *
Have used my first pair for running and traveling for about a two years before they crapped out. Have trained for marathons in all conditions with these and only had a little issue with the sound clogging up in a torrential downpour, would expect any headphone to have issues in that condition.

Buyer Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Excellent Sound but VERY Fragile
Lasted me 3 weeks. Used at the gym 3-4 times a week. The sound's great, super light weight, and easy to carry in a pocket when folded. However, the wires to each ear are very very thin and fragile. To be called sports headphones, one would think they were more durable. Left earphone lost sound and l threw them out.

Buyer Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - 0nly Headphones that fit
Hi l had these for 2 years in a zip pouch in my gym bag. 0ther models such as ear buds and the Sony waterproof model with plastic covers are too large for my ears-- they hurt. l gave them to my husband and daughter. The behind the ear ones fall off and pull and these "old style" phones are the only ones l can wear . For the price and the sound quality and comfort it's a value. As a musician l appreciate the sound range vs light weight. My husband cannot believe the sound quality l'm getting on these cheap lightweights. l'm wearing them, they are not wearing me. Why am l ordering more? l lent them to my teenager in the car and she broke them instantly of course. They do work great duct taped, but l'm buying extra pairs to stash. And l'm not lending them to anybody!

Buyer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - *
l think these headphones are the best for the price on the market. They are very portable and have decent sound quality. They are great for work out headphones but l also use them for travel since they are so small.

Buyer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - great sound ear phones that kick
The earphones that l recently ordered arrived quickly. They are clear and work wonderfully.

Thank you for selling such a great product.

Tab Benoit's album titles leave little doubt as to where he's from or the music he plays. Brother to the Blues, Fever for the Bayou, Wetlands, and now Power of the Pontchartrain exude the sweaty Louisiana swamp, blues, and R&B inherent in their names. But that only tells part of the story--the rest is in the grooves where Benoit's distinctive, grainy voice and tough Telecaster leads bring soul, grit, and intensity to a sound already infused with an earthy sensibility. There's more of the same on this disc, but that's no criticism. Benoit generally sticks with others' songs here, yet he unearths hidden gems. Julie Miller's "Midnight and Lonesome" is dragged into the murky swamps as a driving ballad with eerie qualities that live up to its name. Miller and husband Buddy are also credited with the righteous-yet-rugged gospel of "Shelter Me." "Somebody's Got to Go," originally by Lonnie Johnson, gets a crisp, frisky makeover, and even Buffalo Springfield's crusty "For What It's Worth" takes a swim in the muddy waters of Benoit's home state, with a little help of some altered, post-Katrina lyrics. The guitarist lets his Cajun influences fly on the bouncy rhythms of "Sac-Au-Lait Fishing," the album's only original, and shifts into pleading Otis Redding mode for the aching blues ballad "I'm Guilty of Lovin' You." The Chicago-by-way-of-the-Delta shuffle of "One Foot in the Bayou" is also an apt description of Benoit's approach. He touches on a variety of Americana styles, yet always keeps part of himself planted firmly in the wetlands of his roots. --Hal Horowitz
